This document is a plain-language overview of the full Terms of Use. This overview does not replace the Terms of Use. We created this overview to make it easier for everyone to understand what is in the Terms of Use.

The Basics

  • These rules apply to everything on our website (in-tandem.org) and any other sites or apps we create that link to these rules.
  • We can change these rules at any time, so check back here every now and then.
  • There may be extra rules for specific parts of our website, so keep an eye out for those too. 

Who Can Use Our Site

  • You need to be at least 13 years old to use our site.
  • Our website in based in the USA, so if you're accessing it from another country, you'll need to follow your own country's laws too.

The Don'ts

  • Please don't do anything illegal or harmful on our site.

  • If you're applying to or participating in our Youth Voice Fellowship:
    • Please don't share anything mean, rude, or offensive.
    • Please don't pretend to be someone you're not.

  • We own all the content we create on our site.
  • You cannot use our content without our permission.
  • You also cannot use our name or logo without our permission.

  • Our site may have links to other websites.
  • We're not responsible for what happens on those other sites (they will have their own Terms of Use that you can read to learn more!)

Linking to Us

  • You can link to our website from your own website or social media account, but you must remove the link if we ask you to.
  • Please do not make it look like we're partners or that we support your website if we don't.

  • We try our best, but we can't promise that everything on our site will always be perfect!
  • We're not responsible if something goes wrong or you cannot access our site.
