Organization spotlight
The Rithm Project is a catalyst for change, dedicated to fostering human connection in the age of AI. With a focus on youth, it equips the next generation to navigate and shape the digital world responsibly. The organization’s approach leverages three key levers:
SparkNC is a nonprofit organization dedicated to transforming high-tech education across North Carolina. With a growing consortium of 17 districts, SparkNC is committed to implementing innovative, student-centered models that immerse young people in hands-on learning within high-tech fields such as cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, machine learning, software development, and computer systems engineering. Through their Spark Ambassadors program, which includes current and former students, SparkNC ensures that those who have directly experienced their programs can pay their knowledge forward and help shape the future of high-tech education.
By moving beyond traditional educational norms and systems, SparkNC empowers students to explore high-wage, socially impactful careers. The organization plays a key role in building a dynamic, homegrown talent pipeline, giving North Carolina’s students a competitive edge as they prepare for careers that will shape the future.
Project overview
SparkNC and In Tandem are ensuring that Spark Ambassadors’ voices are part of the ongoing process of improving students’ experience of high-tech education. Spark Ambassadors will do more than share their experiences. As In Tandem Youth Partners, these students will be active participants in the design of future iterations of SparkNC, high-tech education and, hopefully, a new way of co-creating learning experiences in North Carolina’s schools.
