In Tandem is proud to announce our new collaboration with Hopelab, a researcher, convener, and science translator dedicated to fostering greater mental and well-being outcomes for young people. Hopelab envisions a future where young people have equitable opportunities to live joyful and purposeful lives.
Our partnership focuses on collaborative change and empowerment for youth, working together to build a more inclusive and equitable future. By partnering with In Tandem, Hopelab gains valuable access to youth perspectives that directly shape their strategy and approach, ensuring their work truly aligns with the needs and voices of the communities they aim to serve.
Hopelab is a funder, connector, and science translator that supports and builds equity-centered solutions for the mental health and well-being of Black, Brown, and Queer young people. By joining forces with entrepreneurs, funders, researchers, and young changemakers, Hopelab is building a more equitable future for underserved communities, fostering resilience, and supporting the mental health needs of the next generation.
Through this collaboration, In Tandem Youth Partners will play an active role in shaping Hopelab’s work. Here’s how we’re engaging:
“By partnering with In Tandem, we’re able to center the voices of young people in ways that shape not just our findings, but our entire approach to digital health and well-being.” Amy Green, Ph.D., Head of Research at Hopelab
In Tandem’s commitment to co-creation with youth gives Hopelab something invaluable: authentic perspectives from young people who directly shape each project. This partnership goes beyond gathering insights; it empowers youth—especially those from LGBTQ+ and BIPOC communities—to meaningfully influence Hopelab’s work. By involving Youth Partners in strategic planning and research interpretation, In Tandem ensures that Hopelab’s initiatives are both innovative and grounded in real youth experiences.
