In Tandem makes it easy for young people to work alongside organizations, researchers, and schools to shape the future—together.
But true collaboration between project initiatives and youth communities is often difficult to facilitate. That’s where In Tandem comes in.
In Tandem connects a diverse youth population trained in design thinking with organizations, researchers, and schools looking to incorporate the voices of tomorrow’s leaders.
We handle everything from training and coordination to regulatory compliance to make collaboration simple. Expert voices—both youth and adult—can focus on creating the future; we’ll take care of the rest.

The In Tandem Youth Voice Fellowship is a new program based on a previous program called CLIP from Character Lab. The following are quotes from CLIPsters; Youth Partners will perform similar work in the Youth Voice Fellowship.
Thank you so much for providing an opportunity as great as this one. Especially as a person who would not be considered privileged in day-to-day life, this has been a generous program in terms of the resources it provides you to be your best and most comfortable self along with people similar and different to you.
Universal School, 10th grader
This program has been such a great impact in my life and I’m truly glad it’s been able to reach so many students.
West Orange High School, 12th grader
I really enjoyed my time at CLIP, and the opportunities and experiences I have gotten to experience because of all the staff and everyone who is a part of this organization is something that I can not thank you all enough for. Truly, thank you so much.
Olympia High School, 12th grader
One thing I would like to share is that being a CLIPster has been an absolute honor. I have learned many things regarding research. I believe that CLIP gave the youth a voice in the things that affect them the most. At the same time, it has allowed us to make friends and find comfort in our workplace. Thank you for making this year so special and great!
